During the week of November 7-11, we will be collecting paper goods for Shepherd's Gate, a shelter for women and children located across highway 291 from campus.
Please get involved in this great opportunity to give to provide for the needs of others! Students in grades K3 through 12 have special opportunities to serve the community through specific ministries during the week of November 7-11.
Elementary students collect nonperishable food items to fill Thanksgiving baskets for needy families. The collection contributes to baskets that the BJU ministerial class will distribute. Nearly 50 families receive baskets each year. For additional details, click here. Middle school students also collect supplies annually for Miracle Hill Children’s Home. Students have provided an average of over 13,000 pounds of goods for Miracle Hill each of the last five years. For additional details, click here. High school students have a paper drive for Shepherd’s Gate, another ministry of Miracle Hill. The high school students provide paper towels, tissues, and other paper products (often enough for nine months of operation)—a wonderful contribution to that ministry. Students will receive specific information at school. We look forward to these opportunities to serve. |
