The senior drama class, a.k.a., The Guild Dessert Theater, presents three versions (each version presented by a third of the students enrolled in drama) of “Dinner at Eight, Dead by Nine” on Saturday, May 6 at 5, 6:30, and 8 p.m. in the Applied Studies Building. The mayhem-filled murder mystery will be presented as a modified dinner theater, served by drama class members not in the current version’s cast. For the small price of $5 patrons enjoy the show as well as four cheesecake bites—and coffee and lemonade to wash them down. These $5 advance tickets may be purchased Monday through Wednesday from one of the 34 drama class members or at the Spirit Booth. Unsold seats will be available at the regular price of $7.50 from Thursday through show time on Saturday.
The senior drama class plays will be presented on Saturday, May 9, in the Applied Studies Building. Two plays, both comedies about fairy tale characters, will be performed: “Chaos in Fairy Tale Forest” at 7 p.m. by the fifth-hour drama class and "The Brothers Grimm: Out of Order" at 8:15 p.m. by the sixth-hour class. Tickets are $3 per play and may be purchased at the door. Concessions will be sold throughout the evening.
