BJA offers a six-week summer school for high school students, including rising ninth-graders. Students who take summer school may take extra electives, lighten their load during the school year, or make up credits they lack. Cost and courses are available here. The academic office will communicate additional information, such as method and dates for registration, in March.
February 14 from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. is the last time Herff Jones representatives will be at BJA this semester to take orders for graduation announcements and class rings. Order forms and catalogs are available in the high school office and here. A deposit of $100 is required (or payment in full if the order is less than $100). Personal checks are not accepted. Please note that every senior must turn in a form with his/her cap and gown information regardless of whether additional items are ordered.
The high school student body organization is sponsoring its annual Valentine’s Day gift delivery service. Parents can choose from a variety of gifts to be delivered to their child(ren) during class on Tuesday, February 14. All proceeds go to the student body AAP (Academy Advancement Project) fund. See the order form for details about gifts and prices.
Orders and payment can be dropped off at the high school office now through Friday, February 10. All orders must be placed before 3:30 p.m. on Friday. (Because of the quantity of items that are delivered to the office for Valentine’s Day, anything brought to the office will be taken to the Markham Center where students can check at the end of the school day.) |
