Eighty-five students are represented by these averages. The report provides the performance of the students who took the ACT as sophomores, juniors, or seniors and indicated that they were graduating in 2015. The most recent set of test results was used for students testing multiple times. The following table was published in the report.
Your students have consistently performed well academically. It is a credit to their exceptional teachers and to you as engaged parents. But let me remind you of the highest motivator for academic achievement. It is the student’s personal relationship to Jesus Christ. When students realize what God has done for them, they are motivated by God’s love to give back their best to Him. Life has meaning. Life has purpose. These students realize that they can better serve the One they love by disciplining themselves in their education. The principles of God’s Word motivate them to do their best. “What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
The heart of education is the education of the heart!
