Middle and high school grading operates on a semester-long basis. This means that next week’s report card is a “midterm” report card and simply gives a snapshot of a student’s current grades. As additional grades are entered by the teachers through the remainder of the semester, the student’s grade changes; the grade at the end of the semester is the final grade and the only permanent grade for the semester.
Music lessons are not graded; instead, a nongraded assessment of student progress will be emailed to the student’s parent by Monday, October 27.
