Field trips are an important element of the BJA educational experience, but this type of hands-on learning experience isn’t limited to the school environment. We can promote higher order thinking skills and a desire to learn by making everyday experiences into learning opportunities. Christ Himself is an example as the Master Teacher. As we look at His years of ministry, we see how He used everyday “objects” and situations to teach those around Him--a fig tree, a mustard seed, children, and fishermen. Following His example, together we can help our students become lifelong learners--continually learning more about God, His creation, and His sovereign direction in the lives of men.
